Mellow Yellow in my latest featured menswear sewing. I had the gratification of working with the New Look Pattern 6197 to create a captivating camp collar summer shirt. I chose a lightweight and breathable viscose fabric, which made it easy and breezy for the summer season. What I loved about the fabric was its tie-dye look, adding a unique touch to the shirt. Following the pattern fully, I decided not to make any alterations keeping it true to form. The result is a stylish and comfortable shirt that perfectly captures the essence of effortless summer fashion. The smooth drape and airy feel of the viscose fabric lend themselves beautifully to the laid-back aesthetic of the camp collar. I'm thrilled to incorporate this shirt into my wardrobe, adding it to my summertime rotation.
